Isabella Della Penna: Storms and Butterflies
September 10–October 18, 2025
Student Gallery
In Storms and Butterflies, Isabella Della Penna uses surreal, storybook-like imagery to explore psychological growth from childhood through adulthood. Her photographs depict imagined scenes that reflect shifting inner landscapes, touching on themes of self-awareness, societal pressure, and resilience. While Della Penna’s narratives grow darker as her characters age, she holds space for both struggle and hope, offering visual metaphors for the invisible experiences that shape us.
