Flash Forward / Flash Back: A celebration of emerging photographers from the Magenta Foundation

To celebrate The Image Centre's (formerly Ryerson Image Centre) fifth anniversary, we’re teaming up with The Magenta Foundation for an event featuring past and present winners of the Flash Forward Emerging Photographers Competition. From 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, over 20 artists will present a slideshow of their work in rapid fire rotation. The evening will also include the launch of the 2017 Flash Forward publication. Following this special event, the slideshow will play on loop and the gallery’s exhibitions remain open until sunrise, including The Faraway Nearby: Photographs of Canada from The New York Times Photo Archive.
